Scott McClelland: I Passed on False Information for Bush

I wonder if the Bush Crime Family will make him an offer he can't refuse and get him to back off these statements?

Quote:
The most powerful leader in the world had called upon me to speak on his behalf and help restore credibility he lost amid the failure to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. So I stood at the White house briefing room podium in front of the glare of the klieg lights for the better part of two weeks and publicly exonerated two of the senior-most aides in the White House: Karl Rove and Scooter Libby.

There was one problem. It was not true.

I had unknowingly passed along false information. And five of the highest ranking officials in the administration were involved in my doing so: Rove, Libby, the vice President, the President's chief of staff, and the president himself.

High crimes. A grave breach of national security.

At least the guy has the balls to tell the truth. Now, however, he has to die.

Expect an airplane crash around noon.

However Scott is refusing interviews the last couple days.

Publisher: McClellan doesn't believe Bush lied
Spokesman 'did not intend to suggest' the president purposely misled him

The implication being that everyone else did. I guess McClelland needs to protect the person who has the power to pardon him.

The publisher told Chris Matthews today that Scott is leaving it up to the reader what to believe.
