Bush calls war deniers dangerous

President Bush has criticized the Congress for what he called stalling important pieces of the fight to prevent terrorist attacks.

"Unfortunately, on too many issues, some in Congress are behaving as if America is not at war," Bush said during a speech at the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank.

---------------
The people in this administration and congress who are "dangerous" are those giving Bush & Company a blank check to do whatever they want: and this is precisely what the 110th congress has been doing to date.

For a man who has taken four hundred and some vacation days in his 7 year tenure, I think he's more vulnerable to the charge of acting like America is not at war....
I read somewhere that he's averaged more than 9 weeks holiday's per year, compared to maybe the 2 weeks of the average American.

He's the one to talk about sacrifice....when you become president, you know that it's 24/7. 9 weeks holiday time a year is about as laughable as anything else from this administration.

Isn't the President like an elected King anyway? (as in the days when English Kings used to battle Parliament for control)

In American history there were some Native American tribes that were at war with the European settlers more than other tribes.

If we accept the fact that today, oceans don't mean what they meant two-hundred years ago, we might just be adopting a mindset of the those First Nations that took great pride in being on a warpath.

When the media talks about the U.S. being at war, it might be more correct to say the U.S. is on a warpath?

Then there would be fewer citizens wondering why the country is doing this or that. And European political pundits should stop calling our President a cowboy; he may be more like an Indian Chief.
