Have Pity on Me . . . I'm an Orphan

The White House is saying that, because it got us into a war in Iraq based upon intentional lies, we have to stay in Iraq for many more years.

The White House is also saying that, because it got us into a war in Iraq based upon intentional lies, everyone should rally around a war against Iran.

By intentionally committing a horrible crime and then trying to benefit from the mess they created, the White House is acting just like the kid who shot both of his parents and then said "have pity on me . . . I'm an orphan".

That actually was one of the reasons that one juror,female BTW, voted to aquit the Menendez brothers after they killed their parents...because they were orphans.

So, it actually has been used as a defense.

I dont know, I didnt pay much attention to the trial.
I just remember one juror voting to aquit because the brothers were now orphans.
