Hilarious!

I particularly like "Jr. High" and "Little Dee" but they're all very good.

Yes! I didn't laugh at every single one, but it was a great list.

I've been on both sides of this, luckily not having my thesis project disparaged - but fielding and giving criticism is a big part of education in these matters, eh?

It is indeed! Just getting over the hurdle of showing your work to others is hard enough, learning to deal with criticism without lapsing into an "Interrupting Cow" is a whopper of a lesson.

I have a teacher I would so love to use "well, look at Mr Fancypants" on. God, that would be *great.* Oh well, I'll just think about saying it next time he's being horrifically condescending to me Smile I'll probably start giggling...

....Great list, osso...

It's also hard from the other end. I participated as a juror in portfolio reviews re whether students go on with further design classes, and if so, comments on where to emphasize picking up the quality of their work, if such need was apparent.

Also, routinely as an art gallery person...

Oy, nearly as filled with stuff you'd LIKE to say!

Marvelous fun.
Photo shoot and Farmer appealed to me.
Calling the critic "Pardner" and swaggering around like John Wayne had me sniggering madly aswell.
