Here is the responsibilites of a job I have applied for, a company called 'Reed Business Information'.
.To contact Banks worldwide in order to obtain the most current, accurate and comprehensive information within the products (Bankersalmanac.com, book, CD and database products)
?To proof-check and capture data on a structured and relational Windows database for an allocation of international banks
?To compile and input financial information for the allocated banks from audited statements, using a standard format
?To work to strict publication deadlines
Does this sound difficult to you? I hate the idea of not knowing what i'll actually be doing in a job, but this all looks like double dutch to me (the first duty, in particular)
I may have an interview which will invole a 'thinking test!' an 'excel test' and an 'MS word test'. Anyone know any sites where I can practice typical tests like these?
I started to doze off just reading that list.
Sorry I don't know of any sights to practice software. Although my local libaray has tutorials on their computers that people can use to learn the programs.
Look for Word and Excel tutorials at Microsoft's site... or maybe just google "excel test" and see what comes up.
