Hi guys, nice chatting...

A clue: which capital city might reasonably be twinned with Washington?*

*Prize to the winner is a gingerbread man bearing gifts (fall back clue for those unable to work out the above)

You have nothing to fear from the shewolf. The rabbit, on the other hand could be a problem.

Don't provoke the bunny! You have been warned.

Hi Noddy,
Thanks. I'm holding, I'm holding .... (she says cutting a dash for the dictionary...)

Hang on though, on second thoughts.. shouldn't 'it' be plural?

Sorry Noddy, only goofing.

That word has great resonance, even if, to me at least, it may be a tad funereal (shades of DT).
I never felt entirely comfortable with the use of the word myself though. Could be due to the overtones of regal and legal... you know the type of thing.

Oh look! Jumping Julianis! ... the great source in the cyber-sky (Google) indicates it is even some kind of sect:
... Dominion theology....

Aaaaargh. and I'm still struggling with the language here, never mind the theonomy.

Leaving y'all to work now fellas, really MUST get that editing done.

Follow the clues dlowan, follow those clues... take heart, that gingerbread is still up for grabs.

And, on a related subject, should I/we deduce you are from Down Under?

Er Confused , am I to have bi-polar disorder attributed to me as well?

...departs ... sobbing. Crying or Very sad

I got quite enough on my back already thanks what with grappling with the lingo and all.

Is it the Australian continent ganging up here, or what?

My dominions go way, way back. Owen Glendower pre-dates Dylan Thomas in the Welsh line.

Noddy, Noddy, pleeease! put down the lightsabre.... I'm defenceless, out of my depth, drowning. I only resorted to the DT reference as a fig leaf to the cover the slough of my ignorance. It is just that the only thing that comes to my mind when the word 'dominion' is mentioned, outside of the legal or historic context of course, is the sonorous voice of DT declaiming his verses.

Alas that doesn't help overcome any shaky grasp on the language.

In fact that very point set me a-thinking about poetry versus prose. One can have a love of poetry and love the words in it, without necessarily developing any greater ability to apply the vocabulary in the correct grammatical context of written English. And, what with poet's license sanctioning the 'misuse' of words in certain circumstances, one might conclude that poetry is a far more tolerant medium and that penning coherent elegant English prose remains the ultimate challenge.

Anyhow that's Rambling Sid Rumpole signing off! Duty calls and I must to that toilsome editing agin...

As for Glendower, well he's due back any day legend has it! Could be interesting. BTW as you didn't say if you were on EST, now I'm inclined to ask if you're Welsh?

Mi casa es tu casa, and all that...
