She had no chance to become the duplicate BUSH.
there are enough to pick up to fill the vacant place.
My prediction is this
A white wealthy Rep loyal to the lobby and corporate CEO will ruin USA another few years.
The so called Dems have no civil, moral courage to reflect the voter's Dream .

I incline to that view. Probably wishful thinking I'll admit but I have seen no sign of any significant "hair shirt" voters.

don't be ridiculous. of course hillary is sympathetic to people with testicles, not only does she overlook her husband sleeping around again and again and again, she's got a big pair of her own.

An intern performing oral on Bill caused Republican jealousy.

The idea of an intern performing oral on Hillary causes Republican terror.

To be serious, she scares me because I haven't the slightest idea what she would do if elected. Not the slightest.

Didn't Israel have a lady Prime Minister when it was attacked in 1967?

My point is, don't underestimate women. The lady lion is more dangerous than the male lion when protecting her cubs.

I know they had one when their olympians were killed by Palistian terrorists in the early 70's.

Truely, I think we'd be better off with no president than either of them.

What's she gonna do if elected:

1) "Bail out" on Iraq and make it palatable. How about we dust off the "Peace with honor bit (Nixon).... it might play. Rolling Eyes

2) Taxes guaranteed to go up. Let "tax breaks" lapse at the very least. Sad

3) A new flurry of "social" programs to help; Minorities, Women, "the poor", children.... (Pick your favorite charity here)

4) If taxes go up, in addition to the tax break lapse, be watchful for additional tax breaks for certain entities to whom campaign promises were made. Twisted Evil

5) It is highly likely that another assault will be made on gun owners' rights. Shocked

6) Education will get more tons of money to further the fires of futility. Mad

7) She will do everything possible to get Socialized Medicine through Congress. (It looks "warm and fuzzy" on the outside... but once you are in, you are buried!) Razz

There are more, but I'm getting tired. Night all.

Dear Bear:

I stand admonished! Here I thought the expression of opinion was one of the principle reasons these forums exist. Silly me. Rolling Eyes

From your ad hominem comment to my post, I suspect MY particular post was not one you wished to hear. Tough! Get over it.

I'll challenge you, then. Print out my list of predictions, call me back after Hillary's first term and see if I am not near 100% correct with my soothsaying. If I am not, then I will humbly apologize. If I am correct, well.... I suspect I'll never get that call.

Actually, the "soothsaying" in this case is not really a great feat, it is all according to the "Party Line", you see, and Hillary doesn't strike me as one who can think outside "the Box". Razz

no one denied you your right to your opinion or made an ad hominem attack on you. I merely stated that opinions vary, and everyone has one. You seem to be sensitive to the way in which I expressed that. tough. get over it.

by the way, thank you for the admittance that Hillary will have at least a first term. You may be right in your assumptions and opinions. You may be wrong.
We'll see.

I wouldn't mind talking about some of the proposals you've put here, HB.

1, I certainly hope so; witness the alternative.

2, Taxes are guaranteed to go up no matter who the next president is. Our current financial situation is unsupportable. It doesn't take an economist to see that running 1/2 trillion dollar deficits every year will sink our country sooner rather then later.

3, You're probably correct; naturally, some people will actually be helped by these programs.

4, Don't know who you are talking about in particular.

5, I certainly hope so, though I wouldn't use the semi-hysterical language to describe it.

6, Getting rid of NCLB will go a long way to solving that problem.

7, Maybe you haven't visited the health care thread, but people in Canada and Europe seem to be doing okay with their systems. And we aren't doing too well with ours. The sensible thing to do is to figure out a better way; so I hope that this happens too.
