Don't get me wrong, I can't stand the guy. But if every word you spoke (outside your own bathroom) were recorded and analyzed for seven years, could you promise you'd never get caught in a slip like this?

Cut him some slack. There's plenty of real complaints to be made!

I'm confidents that my slips wouldn't be as frequentous.

And, likewise - he has done some good things for education. Maybe he's not quite gone about it in the right way, but kids are better educated now than they were 10 years ago. But, that's just one simple comment in a sea of educational data covering curriculum, english language learners, high-stakes testing, racial inequalities, voucher systems, etc........
