Clearly you need to go amuse yourself in more penis threads.

Are Internet Explorer error messages part of the change? I hate dem things.

Most of the other error messages appear to be diminishing.

I had them on the old site, with the old computer. I'm having them here with the new computer, but maybe somewhat less.

OPERATION ABORTED MESSAGE
-------------------------------------------
just went online for first time today .
trying to go from page to page within thread , i'm getting a lot of messages :
"internet explorer cannot open internet site - operation aborted" .

had that problem a few days ago but it went away .
there doesn't seem to be a problem hopping from one thread to another - just within a thread .

anyone else have the same problem ?

i thought it had disappeared ???

I'm using Internet Explorer on the work computer - lots of error messages - especially trying to access last pages of threads.

Using Firefox on the home computer - very few error messages.

Absolute ditto...except substitute Opera for the home computer.

I continue to report spam and other stuff that's not supposed to be here. Are the reports getting through? I no longer receive an e-mail acknowledgment, so I have no way of knowing.

Okey doke. I've reported (ha) to CdK that the Help Desk is not working properly. I'll see about announcing something, or ask him to do so, when it's all running again.

I'm another who hasn't had any problems to speak of. I use Firefox and never operate out of email (just navigate on the site itself).

just accessed the FIREFOX site and note that there may be some problems with windows vista/firefox compatibility .
i'm not sure that i want to tackle those problems - wish i had never upgraded to vista GRRR Evil or Very Mad .
i'll have to see what my best course of action/INACTION Rolling Eyes is !

I am using firefox in XP. hamburger.

It was predictable that once i bragged about having no problems they would start though.

I am now unable to access the site via email links unless already connected to the site. Once I connect using the updated .org bookmark I can use the link in the email updates.

good , old XP - foolishly i got talked into VISTA UPGRADE ( Twisted Evil) !
reading the FIREFOX website , there seem to be some problems with firefox in a VISTA environment ???
i read in today's news that manufacturers have been advised NOT to install XP after mid 2008 . perhaps VISTA will be fixed by then ????
i do like the picture quality of VISTA - so not all is lost .

repeated aborts
I'm using Win XP and I keep getting repeated aborts with IE...and it seems no matter how I navigate to the site (either through email or IE directly) . Yes, I have .org as part of the address). this has been for 2 or maybe 3 days.

Oddly enough this acess problem is only on certain threads or perhaps users? I have made no changes to anything except with the arddress change to .org

for example:

http://www.able2know.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=104650
causes an abort repeatedly

Help
