Didn't Bush and Cheney, sitting on adjacent toilets, once rub shoes and play finger games for about an hour before they realized who they were and then abruptly clear their respective throats and start mumbling stuff like, "That damned Osama is gonna get a missle up his butt!"

Then, as they washed their hands, side by side, their eyes met briefly and the message was conveyed to keep this whole sordid incident buried forever.

And they left the bathroom.

But, they did not see Harry Reid sitting in the end stall.

The sad case of a closeted gay Republican

I have nothing but compassion for these men. They live a truly horrible existence, especially those in power, satisfying their predilections in secret, always afraid that they will be discovered.

OTOH from the Vatican to the Halls of Congress, it is the repressed male homosexual who is in the forefront of denying gays their rights. It is truly an interesting and tragic dichotomy.

Funny that the local paper did a thorough investigation and could not confirm the rumors. That is to be expected, I guess, as newspapers usually require two sources for confirmation. Now it looks like the arrest has sealed Craig's fate and his career in public office is over. What a f****d up culture we live in that people can't be who they are and be accepted.
