Ohio Republicans Dramatically Raise Sales and Property Taxes on Ohioans. Why? To finance a tax cut for business investors and an income tax cut for the rich, with a number of other brand new changes. Who's Hurt the Most by Kasich (R) plan? Ohioans who buy things, Low income persons, Retirees. Who benefits the Most by Kasich (R) plan? Non-Ohioans, Venture capitalists, High income persons. Bottom Line: John Kasich (R) wants to raise taxes on people who live in Ohio to finance a tax cut for his campaign donors who don’t live in Ohio.

@BigEgo,
Why does anyone affiliate with a political party? Oftentimes it's in their upbringing, like religion. Education levels also tend to follow family lines. If you parse the data out further I think you'll see that ethnicity and/or race are confounded with education on voting patterns.

Keeping education low can be a real asset to the hegemony. The Church had complete control over the masses until they learned how to read.
