It's generally advisable. I'm a bit of a worry if let on the loose.

I don't think I generated any mayhem at Niagara yesterday. Although some lady was shocked when I said there was a limit to the "cutesy" I could cope with.

Just spent about 7 entertaining hours with Margo. Set and Bella joined us for the first 3ish of them.

She's quite the gal.

____

She leaves for Calgary early tomorrow morning. Toronto will miss her.

@ehBeth,
Our secret. The American side has the best view of the Canadian side.
And you are able to look at all our lectricity and chemical plants.

@farmerman,
Feeling a bit envious of margo's arrival in Calgary just as the provincial government there has swung (and swung hard) from deepest conservatism to the NDP - which is pretty damn left of centre.

as one writer put it

Quote:
To explain the phenomenon, Toronto-based writer Doug Saunders asked his American Twitter followers to imagine socialist presidential candidate Bernie Saunders “becoming Texas governor by a big majority”.

I remember enjoying Clearly Canadian. Is it really a Canadian product?

@tsarstepan,
50 years ago, in our district town ...
Quote:
On 26 May 1965 Queen Elizabeth visited the 4th Canadian Infantry Brigade at Fort York in Soest, West Germany. Soldiers from 1 RCR, then stationed in Germany, were included in the joint army/air force Canadian Guard of Honour. The Battalion then took part in a Brigade mounted roll past. On 16 July Prince Philip returned to Fort York to review a Trooping of the Colour conducted by 1 RCR. The recently appointed Colonel of the Regiment, Major-General Daniel Charles Spry, was also present as the Duke of Edinburgh took the salute. That evening all three Messes of the Battalion entertained in style in marquee tents set up for the occasion.

Not your waterfall, though....

The tour took us to the town Niagara on the Lake.........overly cute!

I managed to survive all of Canada and get home more or less in one piece. My camera, however, didn't survive - it got attacked by apple juice on the Rocky Mountaineer and promptly gave up the ghost! Confused

Now I have to take up the issue with travel insurers. Hrmph!

@tsarstepan,
isnt the major selling point of flash drives that they are really small?
Why not stick em in a brick?

Canadians, they sell us anything they can fool us with.

@farmerman,
They shouldn't be so small that they're nearly impossible to fish out of a purse or bookbag.

@tsarstepan,

1I dont carry a purse

2I carry flash drives all over the place. When I need em I make sure I have POCKETS in which to stuff em.

Most all of mine are freebies from clients or financial institutions, where they have logos an colors I have a carrier (like a San Disk carrier) which fits in a briefcase or m;lady;s purse.
SMAller is ok for me.
