@tsarstepan,
Quote:
Brady set the NFL record for consecutive passes without an interception on Sunday,
running his streak to 319 during a 34-3 win over the Buffalo Bills.

He broke the mark of 308 attempts without a pick previously set by Cleveland's Bernie Kosar
over the 1990-91 seasons.

He has thrown only four interceptions this season, his last coming nine games ago
when he threw two in a 23-20 win over Baltimore on Oct. 17.
(espn)

what's more... with one game left, the Pates as a team have commited only 9 turnovers all season!
the record is 13, held by both the 2008 dolphins and 2008 giants...

From si.com:
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) -- Rex Ryan tweaked Tom Brady while he
praised Peyton Manning.

The New York Jets coach said Thursday that "nobody" studies like
Manning, the Indianapolis Colts quarterback whom Ryan's team faces in
a first-round playoff matchup Saturday night. Nope, not even the New
England Patriots quarterback.

"I know Brady thinks he does," Ryan said. "I think there's a little more
help from (Bill) Belichick with Brady than there is with Peyton Manning."

Talk about bulletin-board material.

Gotta love ol' Rex.

the pates' wes welker did some subtle trash talking yesterday --
Quote:
In his response to an opening question about Tom Brady’s value during the postseason, Welker said, “It goes without saying, the guy is who he is and he does a great job of making sure everyone is on the same page and putting their best foot forward going out there and playing well and doing what they can out there,’’ Welker said.

Asked how to convey a sense of urgency to younger players for the postseason, Welker said, “You just talk to them. It’s a playoff atmosphere and you can’t just stick your toe in the water, you’ve got to jump right in and make sure you’re ready to go and make things happen.’’

When describing what makes Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis so effective, Welker said, “I think he is very patient. He has good feet. He moves around really well. He understands the game. He gets his hands on you pretty well.’’

“[We’re] really moving forward and we’re going out there being good little foot soldiers,’’ Welker said.

take that, rex!

@Linkat,

it's ok to have former jets on the squad (woodhead) because they know the enemy's playbook...

Only if they sign in blood that they are dedicated to the Pats and detest their former affiliation.
