When I was a young tech support engineer, we had a product that used the key word "#option separate" to define a certain feature.

Customers would constantly spell it "#option seperate" and the problem was the customers (who were engineers) wouldn't believe that they had misspelled seperate... even when we told them.

This was so-much of a problem that we had to change our product to accept the wrong spelling.
