Yes, last night Anna telephoned me, Margo had PM'd asking for Dutchy's Hospital address as she wanted to send him a card. Dutchy asked that I thank her on his behalf, which I've done...

Anna says he's brighter but he's still having difficulty doing his exercises with his legs, his pulse goes down and he has to stop.. She said she doubts that they will move him to Rehab until he can walk a little without it dropping and I guess she also "hopes" that's the case, as with Rehab he is more on his own.

10 weeks... such a long time... She said it's quiet at home and she can't wait for him to get home.. But she knows her Danny and that he WILL improve to the point where he can go home.

No luck with the Hospital Computer either, wish they would change rooms or something for him, he is Private in a Public place... But, maybe for the best hey DANNY, or else you'd spend all your time concentrating on typing instead of recovering... That's the only way I can look at it, two different goes and no go, says so....

I will visit next week... I can copy and past stuffff and take it down to him if you guys want to or email me, (PM for the email address) and I'll print it which may be easier ....

Frustrating but I'd say another month... hopefully less though.....

Beautiful weather, before we hit Winter, think I'll water my garden and admire before I go running off to work....

It’s been a busy few weeks at Chez Iz!

Quick report on our Bosun – I spoke with Anna this morning and had a lovely chat. Our Danny Boy is steadily improving – the dizzy spells have subsided and he is able to walk a little bit – not very far – but certainly an improvement. They hope to move him to the rehab unit by the end of next week but he will need to be able to look after himself there, get dressed and so on, and his walking must improve some more without relying on the frame – so it’s still a waiting game to see if he will be ready to do that.

Hoping with all hope that he will be able to be home in a month. Please keep all prayers and good wishes going.

If it can be arranged, the Bosun may get a new laptop shortly so... let’s keep everything crossed that he will be able to get back online.

FS – thanku again for everything you’ve done. ((FS)) I agree that maybe Danny had to improve much before getting back online – hopefully now though, when they get the new laptop it will give him a boost and he will get home a little quicker. Ha, he’s missing Anna’s food and is most grumpy about the hospital food – a sure sign he is well on the road to recovery Please give Danny a kiss for me when you see him. x

Missssssssssy – thinking of you and hoping that you will keep safe in the storm. Will be keeping an eye on the news to check in on you over the weekend. I do hope everything is alright with PaPa... (going to check in on FB in just a sec) – love you Dixie xxxxx

Vonny – I know you have your surgery coming up soon – it’s easy to say not to worry but I know you will be. We’ll be thinking of you and hoping for a speedy recovery. We can set up a special berth for you on the deck and will sit and wait with you whilst you’re recovering. x

Stormy - hope all is good with you and that N is doing well with his B-ball. Has Spring arrived your way? It's been incredible April showers here - sun, rain, sun, rain and a little bit of thunder heading our way tonight. Other than that - the garden is growing and all is well. Back to school on Tuesday - 'tis a long term ahead. Hoping that school is going well for you. x

And I have an idea.... Found Soul isn't the only witch around here.

We'll make sure Dutchy can get back online by supplying him with a MAGIC LAPTOP--the only one in the entire universe.

This MAGIC LAPTOP won't need a modem or WiFi, or even use a battery or a power source, and it will be guaranteed to enable him to communicate with all of us, and to allow him to go anywhere on the World Wide Web.

But, for the next week, it might be better if he concentrates on regaining more strength, so he'll be able to move on to rehab ASAP. So, perhaps, we should delay the laptop's arrival for a short time...just a wee short time. Whenever we want to send it to him, we can do it in the blink of an eye--it is a MAGIC LAPTOP after all.

In the meantime, I think we should send him some tasty food, since he's tired of the hospital fare. Any suggestions?

How about some Nasi Campur from Bali? Danny might enjoy that.
