I believe the past is a function of the present and not the other way around. No language does not come from your temporal lobe. Gotu Kola can stimulate the temporal lobes of the brain to function better. Pot has an opposite effect. I specialize in slang and the origins of words like Tang, so I study Japanese, English, Tagalog, Swedish, Icelandic, and Swahili.
