Hi all. I'm a wild hodgepodge but it's not my fault. Let's see, this week I'll blame society and give my parents a rest. I have made my living over the years as a musician (my main interest; working for many years in a fine Western Swing Band, The Central Park Sheiks, then for many more years as an independantly contracted composer), a magician (street performer doing magic and mime 1975-85), a writer (first published at eighteen in a collection of angry American Poets 'the Writing on the Wall--Walter Lowenfelds- Doubleday' --my submission being wedged between cumming and Ginsburg was, alas, only mildy pissed-off, but I guess I qualified. The poem did not rhyme; subsequently I have worked as a journalist and editor of computer manuals); for the last decade I have made my living as a computer graphic artist (Photoshop, Quark, Illustrator) but continue with my music by producing an album every year or so.
I love life in general, thank the heavens for Tai Ch'i, Science Fiction, great books and movies, and of course lovely, friendly people. Peace, Bert.
