I just took my 2001 Ford Expedition for a routine oil change and on the paper work they give you afterwards it stated, "CV Boot damaged"? What does this mean, how quickly does this need to be repaired and is it very expensive? Thanks.

I think it is pretty important to fix (your wheels play an important part in the operation of your car).
If I remember right, this is a couple or three hundred dollars... but I could be of on this.
The CV boot covers the CV joint to keep out debris.
Dirt in the CV joint will eventually destroy the joint, and then your wheels won't even spin.
They usually replace the entire assembly when replacing the boot.
