Thank you, Amigo!!!!

You are a great Wildclicker and supporter of the Nature Concervancy. That's the group of concerned citizens who are supporting this effort to help preserve the air we all breath. Without the Rain Forest we would not have enough oxygen to support all life on Earth.

Thanks for the new thread, Amigo!!!! Great going..... Very Happy Very Happy

That sounds good Amigo - always remember, when you start a thread the subject is yours - and, only you are in charge.

Good Night - And, Good Luck.

That's a takeoff from a recent movie.........

However, I remember the real broadcasts - of course they were all in black and white. There was no color in those days.

So many activities for summer! Outdoor concerts, sailing, scuba, hiking, nature/conservation tours, wildlife photography, art/craft faires, water skiing, lazin' by the river or rafting are just a few of the great outings, something for everyone.

On the home front...friend and family gatherings, kids faires, water parks, cookouts, camping, horseback riding, crafts for kids {my favorite was asking the kids to gather twigs, stones, and leafs then building from the supplies they found - replicas of historical places. Forts, towns, coatal areas, or things they recalled seeing that day} keeping them occupied until camp dinner was prepared {and dust from kids running through camp at minimum} Smile

Summer rocks!

There's a time in each year
That we always hold dear,
Good old summer time;
With the birds and the treeses
And sweet-scented breezes,
Good old summer time.
When your day's work is over
Then you are in clover,
And life is one beautiful rhyme,
No trouble annoying
Each one is enjoying,
The good old summer time.
In the good old summer time,
In the good old summer time,
Strolling thro' the shady lanes,
With your baby mine;
You hold her hand and she holds yours,
And that's a very good sign
That she's your tootsey wootsey
In the good old summer time.

To swim in the pool,
You'd play "hooky" from school,
Good old summer time;
You'd play "ring-a-rosie"
With Jim, Kate and Josie,
Good old summer time,
Those days full of pleasure
We now fondly treasure,
When we never thought it a crime,
To go stealing cherries,
With face brown as berries,
Good old summer time.
In the good old summer time,
In the good old summer time,
Strolling thro' the shady lanes,
With your baby mine;
You hold her hand and she holds yours,
And that's a very good sign
That she's your tootsey wootsey
In the good old summer time.

one of my favourite summer memories is of being at an outdoor concert venue ... lots of sweet smoke in the air ... and Asleep at the Wheel performing ...

Well, it takes more than a robin
To make a winter cold
Then it takes two lips of fire
To melt away the snow
Yeah, and it takes two hearts a-cookin'
To make a fire glow
And baby, you got what it takes

Well, it takes a lot of kissin'
To make a romance sweet
And it takes a lot of lovin'
To make my life complete

And it takes a lot of woman
To knock me off-a my feet

And baby, you got what it takes

Ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-we
Ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-we
Baby, you've got just what it takes

And it takes more than an effort
To stay away from you
And it takes more than a lifetime
To prove that I'll be true
(Sing it with me)

Yeah, and it takes somebody special
To make me say, "I do"
And baby, you got what it takes

Woo-woo-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-we
Woo-woo-woo-woo-woo-we
Baby, you got just what it takes

Well, it takes more than an effort (hoo)
To stay away from you (ooo, I know it)
And it takes more than a lifetime
To prove that I'll be true

And it takes somebody special
To make me say, "I do"
And baby, you got what it takes
Oh yeah

And baby, you got what it takes
