Show me from the bible that money gets you to heaven. You can't because anyone who teaches that lie, is going against the bible. God wants us, not our money.

Hey frodo, of course God doesn't want your money. He just wants you to part with yours and there are loads of scriptures that God's helpers use to help you get rid of it.

Quote:

    * According to Job 22:28: * you pray * decide what you want * pay your vow * decree that it be done * and declare that it is being accomplished

Step out in faith today and make a vow to God. Vowing is one of the best ways to stretch your faith-but only when your vow goesbeyond your natural resources or abilities. I don't need much faith to vow $100 if I have $2,000 in a savings account. But, if I don't even have a savings account and can barely pay my bills, then a $100 vow will stretch my faith indeed. For I will have to seek God and focus on Him to supply the seed to pay that vow.

You can't go to Hell in New Jersey, but you can get as far as the river Styx.

Oh. And good morning, Set. Or afternoon, that is.

You too, xingu.

Why do you think I'm inside with my computer?

I'd shave but can you imagine how ridiculous a naked wolf face would look.

Only 101 in Tucson today (cold front passing through).

I wonder if the JWs pick July to have their annual convention in Tucson just to see what they are missing.

I thought summer was the rainy season in Tucson. I've been told those dry river beds can get mighty full. A few times Carole and I have stayed at the Trend West in Rancho Vistoso. I like the area, but I am a mossback at heart.

You heard right. Usually around the Fourth the fireworks begin and can last through August. It cools down during the thunder clappers but it can still get might hot in between.

1)Because there are no contradictions, nor errors.

2) Because of the hundreds of predictions in it that have come true.

3) Because of the fact that 40 men wrote the bible over a span of 1,500 years, lived in different parts of the world, different walks of life and it still fits together perfectly.

4)Because of my own personal relationship with the God of the bible and what He has done for me and in my family.

#3) Show us how "it fits perfectly?"
#4) What has he really done for you and your family?

Is this enough or do you need more?

Old Testament Prophecies
Fulfilled by Jesus Christ, Messiah
ALL of these prophesies were made hundreds, sometimes
thousands, of years before Jesus Christ was born. Looking in the face of
how He literally fulfilled them all (plus hundreds more), it is an
impossibility that He is not Messiah, Saviour of the world. The ONLY
person...past, present or future...who could fulfill all these prophecies is
Jesus Christ. See His genealogy starting from faithful Abraham.
