A nice hot bowl of chicken soup, made by moi. Delicious, comforting, and warming. I also get a sense of nostalgia with such food at this time of the year.

@Builder,
still getting free food from our Amish neighbors. Toay we got a huge bag of freshly made kettle corn, upon which I am now gnoshing. Its great stuff , not all sweet like caramel corn and not too salty. Just right. HUge kernels. They must have screened the unpopped ones out.

I cant keep this up, Im gaining weight from all the schlek.

If that was me it would read as ... "thank goodness some were about the size of a humpback whale skull." I really really love shortbread cookies.

A heaping tablespoon+ of seeds that remained in a paper bag from a variety of Kosher bagels delivered to be set up by yours truly at my law firm pantry for breakfast.

@tsarstepan,
Cranberry muffin and coffee at Panara's when my wife took her car to the auto repair shop across the street. She just told me the repair is going to cost $800 for some noise in her car. it's a 2006 Honda Civic, and I suggested she should buy a new car, but she said there's still over 50,000 miles left on the car. I told her she "can't take it with her." $$$$$ Wink Laughing Cool Rolling Eyes Mr. Green

Had to look up turmeric.

@cicerone imposter,
I think they use turmeric to color hot dog mustard that "baby ****" yellow , (not the Dijon ).
