Have you ever tried their ice cream? I forgot the name but they make a vanilla chocolate swirl that is so creamy and gooooood.

Unfortunately that's not the last thing I put in my mouth.....instead it was just a cough drop sighhhhhhhh.

I shared two bites of a McDonald's bacon double cheeseburger with Bella. Set got the balance. It wasn't exactly piping hot after a long TTC ride but still tasty enough. I do love their pickles (ok - anyone's pickles , but esp McD's)

@ehBeth,
Diced cucumbers, with a touch of ranch dressing, lots of freshly grated Parmesan. Next time I'll add a bit of black pepper...

For lunch I sauteed some small carrots in coconut oil, with fresh garlic and onion, a diced red potato and a heap of just picked moringa leaves. Very tasty.

@glitterbag,
Homemade hummus on 9 grain bread

In a month or so, I'll play with making hummus with black eyed peas, and, no, not canned (all the recipes so far call for canned). One of my batches of chickpea hummus lasts something like 4 months, given that I start with a pound bag of chickpeas. It freezes well in smallish plastic containers.

Mashed up half an avocado with hot chili paste, a little salt and some shredded cheese, spread that on whole grain toast. Awesome!

spicy shanghai noodles at Sandy's

it was nanny day there today - about six Philipino nannies and their dozen+ charges had the whole front end of the restaurant at the beginning of lunch. by the end it was mostly local seniors and their grandkids
