@farmerman,
Just flat field mushrooms, farmerman. On a small acreage here, that gets the rainwater runoff from a few properties with horses. After any kind of decent rain, in autumn mostly, we'll get a few pop up here and there. Guessing the spores come from their feed and dung.

Rabbit-food omelette this morning (parsely, chives, basil off the bush) with fresh-grated parmesan, and worcestershire sauce.

I found a tiny tub of Masala Chai from Teany (loved that place) in the cupboard. Finally managed to force it open. Got the strainer out. Made a cup. Dang, that's good.

Moby had some good tea blends and the cafe on Rivington was fab.

@ehBeth,
Sounds good.

I'm having a glass of a California Cabernet Sauvignon. I need it, with all this news going on. Presently I'm at the end of making granola, and soon will start to make refrigerator soup. I'm getting hungry.

slices of English cucumber with salt and bacon-ranch dressing dip

is it possible to become addicted to cucumber slices?

@ehBeth,
I just ate some rosemary triskets with bits of gorgonzola. Triskets too salty for even me. That didn't go too well - I should have sprung for Camembert..

@ossobucotemp,
Sprout's banana slice covered with chocolate. Yummy. One serving is four slices, but we had only one.

@cicerone imposter,
a piece of Ohio Swiss Cheese. Gotta keep up the cheese businesses since all the GOPer's look down on cheese with disdain.
