													@Phoenix32890,
												Hi, kiddo. Hope you are doing ok. I speak now as Diane and I ransacked a grocery store a few hours ago.
PM me if you feel like it. Urg, I know I have a new name (long story) - how to pm? ossobucotemp.

												I braved heating the kitchen a bit (hot here) while making caramelized onions, via the Russ Parsons recipe, invariably good. Much of the "recipe", simplicity itself, involves timing (as in, don't burn them). I don't take them to his endpoint, as I am happy enough a bit earlier, but fairly close to his. I don't need his end stage..
The recipe is on a2k; if anyone is interested, I'll find and post it.
Anyway, my last tasted thing was a dollop of caramelized onion. Oh, gawd.

													@ossobucotemp,
												A taste of the black cherry jam I made yesterday. First attempt at cherry. Good but not great. I'll make adjustments for next time.

Last taste - a simple tuna/turmeric mayo/sourdough sammich
Today's kitchen challenge is to make my own mustard. I've done it before, easy peasy, but this time I'll make a bigger batch.

													@ossobucotemp,
												So far I've perfected prune-plum jam and apple butter. (for my tastes)Working on grape and cherry.
