What else would I be eating in midwinter on New Years Day?
@ehBeth,
Every New Years, we have family and friends come for sushi and other goodies. I think I counted 16 consisting of adults and children. I've been drinking lot of hot tea.
melted cheddar on something called farmer's bread - the bread has barley and molasses in it
it's kinda chewy bread

something better is almost ready
Have whipped together a fishcake mix (potatoes, tins of sardines in hot sauce with the sauce drained not to avoid spiciness but the liquid, big shakes of medium hot chile powder, two 'large' eggs, and bread crumbs if I need them: Ready to Saute. We'll see, as I added mayo the last time and it seemed to help hold stuff together.
This is getting to be a ten year adventure as I play around a lot of the time with the ingredients.
So, no, that is not recently in my mouth. That was for a test of the potatoes re texture.
@ossobuco,
So far, half good, as the last few wanted to fall apart. Sigh. They all felt good, re hand pattying.
