I don't know about other bialys, but they're baked in this recipe. I've not had baked stuff turn out chewy before..

now I'm going to have to look up my montreal bagel recipe, since I forget the details. I think they go through boiling, but not sure.

bagels (in some versions) are boiled before baking

chewy is definitely the result you want for bialys and bagels Smile

cheddar and turkey on a warmed bagel with a slice of sweet/sour pickle
could have used a slice of tomato but forgot to pick up tomatoes yesterday

Mmmmm, sounds good, reminds me of an old favorite cake.

Right now I'm slurping a stewed peach and plump raisin smoothie with cocoa, half and half, and vanilla yogurt.

A sandwich done as a Cuban with french bread, mayo, horseradish, sweet pickle, gherkin, leftover roast beef, tillamook cheddar,blue cheese, mexi blend cheese, caramelized onion, saute mushroom, creole seasoning, mrs dash, sea salt....fried in good butter on a panini press grill.

An well over aged Costco Brie, Inglehoffer stone ground, girkins, pepperoni on Costco ancient grain crackers.
