a really fantastic hamburger

mixed in (really lightly) some "Italian-style" breadcrumbs and bbq sauce

melted some summer sausage slices in a pan

put the burger patties on top to cook

they were really juicy and barely held together

perfect

@ehBeth,
Ah, now roasted butternut squash soup I can make!

Great with cumin or a bit of something spicy to give it a kick.

I once had it with various seafood appendages in it, and it was lovely. A Sicilian thing, I think.

Sicilians are well known for separating the appendages from the body. They usually don't like finger or footprints being found.

@ehBeth,
what sort of meat did you have for yourThangsgiving?

Did you lard it with strips of bacon?

@farmerman,
I can see that they are all English words, but they are arranged in such a way as to confuse.

I'm thinking toffee covered/flavoured popcorn contained within a re-sealable bag?

@Lordyaswas,
OLD BAY is a seafood flavor "rub". Its mostly paprika, chili pepper, salt, other spices NO CUMIN. The "Caramel Corn" is indeed a popped corn that is stirred and covered with the caramel /OLD BAY candy. It is aloed to cool and the caramel hardens and the treat is eaten as a sugary snack.

One cannot eat very much at a time, its very sweet.

IS an "Old By" a term that means "freezer bag" in UK?

@cicerone imposter,
FUDGESICKLEs are great. We used to get a kind with MALT in them when I was a kid. That was many geological eras ago.

@farmerman,
No, it was the 'zip' that sent me down the wrong road.

I thought maybe that Old Bay was the company who made the stuff and that their bags were re-sealable or something along those lines.

Americans either make something sound very exotic, I find, or make it sound charming in a rustic, popeye sort of way.

It's a bit like listening to our late night shipping forecasts on the radio sometimes.

I like it.
