A picholine olive. Oh, god, I love those. Probably my favorites, only see them at one market anywhere near here.

<waiting for my fishcake to thaw, having a cup of coffee now, new brand a'beans called Cameron's organic french roast, probably in my price range to acquaint the customers with the new-for-here brand>

leftover sauteed shrimp (oil/butter, garlic, chardonnay, red pep flakes, lemon squeeze, s&p, parsley) - I keep the leftover peels and juice/stuff in freezer each time, soon to make some kind of fish noodle soup.

@ossobuco,
Fish noodle soup. Mmmm...

I made two big pans of all-in fish stew last week. Had a bowl or three over the next two nights and froze the rest..

Smoked haddock fillets cubed, bag of various frozen seafood, courgette, caspicum, onion, garlic, potato, parsnip, carrot, tinned sweetcorn, couple of tins of chopped tomato, jug of fish stock, small amount chopped chilli, black pepper, mixed herbs, oregano, glug of soy, glug worcestershire sauce.
Chop everything, put into pan(s), make sure there's enough fluid in each to simmer for god knows how long....taste, add stuff as necessary.....wait til simmered to stewlike consistency and turn off. Allow to cool.

Bag, freeze and/or heat to eat. Serve with crusty bread.

Luvverly.

@Lordyaswas,
I erred by implying I didn't saute the shrimp with peels on.

Your fish stew sounds great.

@Dutchy,
Hi, Dutchy!

some spicy thai chicken soup. I have to dilute it tomorrow, too much salt in the broth, ugh.
