@ehBeth,
Little preview -- waiting for the green beans to blanch.

Salmon fillets (dropped frozen into hot salted water and kept on hot range over hot oven for precook for 20 minutes, then marinated for 1.5 hours in oil, garlic, rice wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar, and a little bit of paprika, then broiled), red and white sweet potatoes (quartered, rubbed with truffle oil on cut surfaces, and baked until crusty/gooey -- thanks, roger), and green beans, blanched and the sauteed with oil, garlic, and dried basil.

Looking forward to dinner. Beans should be about ready to drain and sautee now...

@patiodog,
I think I'll grab your cooking instructions here - I just suggested to Set that we do something with the frozen salmon fillets on Thursday - now there's a plan!

(will put green beans on the shopping list - the little girlDog will be ecstatic)

@Dorothy Parker,
Hi D/P, long time no see. I said fresh, because I grow them in my own garden, they're delicious when cold and with ice cream.

Coffee and toasted cheese/tomato sandwiches this morning.
