Really wanted a cocktail.

Thing is, the cupboard is bare. Well, there's some cheap rum, some vodka, but nothing to mix either with, and the only liquors I drink straight are tequila, whiskey, whisky, and grappa.

Do find some Southern Comfort (years and years old), some sweet vermouth (I use it in sangria). And there's half a lemon in the frig.

So I pour out two fingers of SoCo, a splash of sweet vermouth, and squeeze the juice of the little half lemon into it. Add ice and stir. Et voila!

Tastes like ****.

@patiodog,
Sorry to hear that patiodog. Join me for a drink in my bar which is stacked with topshelf stuff. How about a doubled Johnny Walker Red Label Whiskey on the rocks? Cheers!
