Breaking the camel toe barrier on television

I am starting this thread in honor of my new favorite actress, Molly Shannon. I love her, not only because she just she is awesome in her new movie, "Year of the Dog," but also because of her pioneering work in television.

I do believe she is the first person ever to purposely flaunt her camel toe on TV, as you can see in this SNL spoof of the Sopranos that aired last week. The whole skit is good, but the cameltoe is featured at about the 3:45 mark if you're too impatient to watch the whole thing.

Has anyone ever done this before? If so, I don't remember it. Do you? I thought not. It's groundbreaking work!

Thank you, Molly. You are a true american hero.

What do YOU think? Were you as impressed as I was?

Oh my gosh that is so funny. I was watching that skit and turned off the TV to go to sleep right before that part. How funny!

I remember the one she did years ago when she was Sally O'Malley interviewing to be a detective.

I also really like the one she did when she was the granola/organic public radio chick on the cooking show and she was trying out Alec Baldwins "Schwetty balls" -one of his festive holiday recipes. She really, really enjoyed them Laughing .

She's great- she's a classic.

That is a great song. Now why don't the people on American Idol ever do songs like THAT!? It would virtually guarantee them another week.

She really is. I LOVE her. And not just because she's funny. I love her spirit. Seriously. I remember when she left SNL to try to be an actress, and a lot of people thought she'd tank. But she's doing it, and this new movie is really good. And it isn't even a comedy. She's actually a pretty decent actress!

When she was hosting the show last week and she said how much things had changed since she left, and then she said how proud she was of her new movie, I just wanted to run up and hug her. I think she really has something special, and I'm not even kidding. You know how some people you just can't help but root for? She's one of those people.
