If the Supreme Court declared that a certain X-rated film was pornographic, would you be more or less inclined to watch it?

The Supreme Court

Oh, you mean the Supreme Court of Judicature of England and Wales, consisting of the Court of Appeal, the High Court of Justice (for civil cases) and the Crown Court (for criminal cases).

In Scotland the chief courts are the Court of Session, for civil cases, and the High Court of Justiciary, for criminal cases, while the sheriff court is the Scottish equivalent of the county court.

If you're being deliberately provocative and US-centric, you are a dummy. Go pound sand.

Please do not be too hard on cooldivya. She is one of the few people from the USA who actually know of the existence of what she refers to as THE Supreme Court.

I intend no provocation and my thoughts are not on the US.

I am refering to the The Supreme Court that is supra-national.
It is from this Supreme Court that all our National Courts derive their very existence and their very nature.

This Court is not encountered on this side of death, though we experience its influence -- and i was just having a play on the words.

Would I rush to see a particular film if the appropriate court in my country declared it pornographic? Not unless there were other redeeming features to the film. I doubt that the declaration in itself would make it a "must see". Not for me, anyway.

Now that could be quite a different different kettle of fish!
If it received fantastic reviews I'd consider it!

Oh, that supreme court. Rolling Eyes I wouldn't give a rat's ass who says what is pornographic. However, if I had the email address for this "supreme court," I'd like to send them a message to stop worrying about people having sex on film, and start thinking about people "on this side of death" who wage wars and kill each other in the name of religion.

Instead of waiting for movies a court deems pornographic, I know of a few free websites that have plenty of porn.

I mean, porn is bad. I don't like the way women are looked at like objects.

oh God, I'm getting hot just thinking about Ruth Bader-Ginsburg and Samuel Alito getting it on.

Too bad we didn't think of this before, we could've gotten Ruth and Sandra Day Oconnor drunk and got them to do a lesbian scene, while Clarence Thomas watched.

I have it on good autority Sandra didn't wear anything under her robes.
