i need some calligraphy help..

I've been developing an interest in calligraphy and I have been trying to find somehelpful websites. Ones that aren't trying to sell a book if you know what i mean.I just want some alphabets too look at, and REAL information on calligraphy. Google has failed so far to help me find anything useful.

i was just wondering if anyone had some helpful links, advice or recommendations on some good books. Anything would be nice , especially if it doesnt require my credit card information
