I need help!!! My water is a brownish color. I had the water tested and the results are hardness 13, iron 3, ph 7.3, tds 221, tannins 3, manganese & nitrate not detected. Clean My Water Company (888-989-7873) has recommended a pt3000 and pt2900. Has any used these system and do they work?

Questions:

Who tested your water?
Did they perform the testing in your presence?

The company you mention is an online sales organization.
Who is going to install and service the system?

Do you have a local company that sells, installs and services modern water treatment equipment?

are you sure the lab reported 3 (ppm?) for iron and not 0.3 ppm?
were the results in ppm? was the lab a certified lab with a state registration and updated certification?

Is the lab certified to do drinking water?
Did your lab report include a "chain of Custody " document (usually a chart that's filled in by hand)

You need more information about treatment equipment and your choices before you buy anything.

That company is high on marketing and they are very secretive about their mixed bed minerals.

I suggest that you need to know more about them and do research on them before you buy that equipment.

Is this a new well?
