I have Corel Photo-Paint 8.0 and when I recently opened the application the Menu Bar menu was "missing". This is the menu bar that contains the standard pull-down commands such as File, Edit, View, etc. I don't know how this menu bar got deleted, but I've been unable to restore the menu bar.
I've tried to restore the Menu Bar by invoking the Restore Defaults and some others. There just doesn't seem to be even a away to either make the Menu Bar optional to begin with. So I don't see how it could have been deleted.
Any suggestions on a means of restoring the Menu Bar?
OK, I'm always conflicted by feelings of genius and idiocy when I have to come back and concede that I found my own solution. In this case I went into the Toolbars menu, went to Customize and went to the Menu submenu and just added the Menu Bar back. Go figure.
Well, at least this leaves a potential answer for someone else in the future.
