I see it Deb. How nice to be near a park.

Dadpad, Look at all that green!

No, Bill. You expanded the view to the north. To see Central Park, you need to expand the view to the west. Not necessary. Honest.

Deb, hold down ctrl and hit the key that says "print screen SysRq or some such thing and it will be on your clipboard. From there you can paste it in Paint and convert it to Jpeg.

Ps. Yours didn't strike right on a building either... am I close?

You're poifect!!!

If you look at the SW corner of the major intersection shown, mine is the building right on that corner....you can see the oak trees between it and the main road, on the northern side of the building.

To the west of my building, , you can see a smaller projection of the main building that forms a rectangle....my place is one of the apartments in that smaller section of building.

You can (with difficulty!) just see the shape of the balconyof the person on the top floor.....to the south. My balcony is the same, but, of course, below the upper ones.

I look north across the road to the park.

And here is the view:

Sorry! It's posted on Ravens realm, and I can't seem to get pix from there to be any bigger!

Bill, Thanks for everything. You're a good guy. I'm especially grateful since you did this all while playing poker. I hope we weren't too much of a distraction. Win, Bill, win!!!

Also, thanks for Central Park. I live three blocks from there.

No biggie. Poker and A2K are pretty normal companions. I only play about 20% of the hands I'm dealt, and you guys are a lot more interesting than the strangers on Poker sites.

Things may have gotten a bit disconnected last night. This is the building I live in. It has 114 apartments and nine floors; I live on the eighth. My apartment faces the avenue. Three blocks west is Central Park.

That's some serious trees, eoe! Gorgeous.

O'Bill, a trailer, in Florida? Will you be out of there before hurricane season starts?

Great to be so close to the water though. Haven't been back to Florida in way too long, I miss the ocean.

By the way, another simple way to get satellite photos without downloading Google Earth is to just:

1. Enter your address (including city and state) into the Google search bar.

2. Click on the result.

3. Click on the "satellite" button, 3rd from left out of 4 buttons on the upper right side of your screen (between "map" and "hybrid").
