Creamed Cheese, Carrot and Pecan Spread
Metric Ingredient - Imperial
225 g cream cheese, softened - 8 oz
4` small carrots, grated - 4
250 ml gound pecans - 1 cup
15 ml onion, finely chopped - 1 tablespoon
50 ml mayonnaise - 1/4 cup
salt & pepper to taste
In a medium bowl, thoroughly blend cream cheese, carrots, pecans, onion and mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Serve with crackers. Serves 10
That looks tasty, although I'm kinda dubious about the onion, particularly since it should be raw per your directions. Is it a specific type of onion, like a Vidalia?

I actually had something similar to this the other day! But instead of carrots, it had crab meat in it. It was sooo good. You also put in these little pita pouches instead of crackers.
