No, only #1 has been solved.

The answer to #2 is not ghost. I was just agreeing with you guys that you can see neat stuff in these nebulae, just like looking at clouds, your imagination sees what it wants.

As I have said before the hidden messages are actually messages. That means that they are written in some recognized language, as opposed to a picture of something which is up to interpretation. These messages have no alternate interpretations.

Ok, I will give the solutions to #2 because it is the hardest, and #3 because it has been the most discussed.

#2 Solution:

I showed two images, one of them contained a hidden message and one of them did not. Therefore by subtracting the two images anyone could have easily seen what the differences are. In doing so you would see that the only difference is random noise spread throughout the image. This is a way of embedding a hidden digital watermark. If you have Photoshop (which I stated as a requirement) you can then read the digital signature. It would read the number 5062990, which is a 24 bit number, giving enough room for 3 ASCII characters. If you translate it into ASCII you get M-A-N. That is the hidden word: MAN.

#3 Solution:

The solution requires very limited knowledge of astronomy. Simply knowing that it is a picture of the big dipper is enough. Reading a few words about it will tell you that the 2 stars on the right edge point towards Polaris, the north star. This was also pointed out by posters. Then by googling up a star map of the big dipper you can overlay that map onto the image. You will see that 2 very large stars are featured in the image which should not be there. If you connect those 2 stars you get a line passing through the line pointing to Polaris at a 45 degree angle. Therefore the direction of this line would be North-East, although South-West would be an acceptable answer as well.

You said "see" so I thought you were going to show a picture.
darn, I was looking forward to the picture. Sad
The pictures are pretty.

#2 I don't have photoshop
#3 I don't know how to overlay an image of a map onto the image.

I googled it and read about it. I actually found a site that said:
Facts regarding the Big Dipper. Then it listed them. I couldn't believe #1
It actually said: The Big Dipper is bigger than the Little Dipper.
I thought that was hilarious. I kinda figured it should be a given considering
the name but, I guess not everyone thinks that. Confused
Hmm big is bigger than little Rolling Eyes

Thanks for providing that link. That is really a pretty picture.
I could just not write anything else because you wrote just knowing
that it's a picture of the Big Dipper is enough but,
how much time do you have?

That is because I also kept reading the rest of what you wrote. Well, I feel like a cat. Cats are curious is what people say and I am curious by nature or it's because of my parents since they had me. At least that is what I tell people. I just blame it on my parents on why I am curious.

I am laughing so hard right now. Not at you. But at me. Because in real life I am like this. I always seem to have a question. People that know me will actually look at their watch and say okay it is # time right now. You have 5 minutes to ask questions because I know it may be 5 minutes or it could be forever and I have a life.

That is why I asked you how much time do you have.

Rather then take your time. You said just knowing it is a picture of the Big Dipper is enough. So, I can live with that and not ask any questions.

However, I do have some if you do not mind answering them, then I will ask, because I want to make sure I understand the rest of what you wrote.
So, I will leave that up to you as far as answering any questions I might have. I feel like an idiot right now and I am really still laughing (at myself).

I really appreciate you showing the picture. I love the picture. I even printed it out so I can just look at it when I want to.

Hehe...no...but good attempt! I doubt anyone else will be fiddling with this one so here it is (animated gif will cycle through the steps every 2 seconds)

1) crop
2) rotate 90 deg CW
3) reduce output level of reds/greens to 0
4) re-center blue histogram
5) surface blur
6) tweak blue curves
7) resize

That is just amazing. I have not seen anything like that before. It is really
pretty. btw can I just call you stu?

I really mean it---amazing. I don't know what the #1-7 meanings are. The way to do what you did? That would be just a no or yes. I am not even
going to attempt to try it. That is so neat. Are you a genius or what?
