I understand that charities must annually file Form 990 with the Internal Revenue Service. I also understand that the IRS makes the completed forms available to the public. However, I can not find access to the completed forms on the IRS site.

How can I view or copy completed Form 990s of selected charities?

I believe you have to submit a FOIA request to the IRS for the charity you want the info on.

The easier way is to use a site that collects all of the 990s (as well as other info) and look there. One that I know of is http://www.guidestar.org/ There may be others as well...
