That le car looks a little too much like a clown car to me.

I do have some style limits.

Although, I do think it would be funny watching a french person driving one, on their way to some pretentious soiree.

I'm almost 58... unbelieveably attractive, in good shape, and I have a great wife who can ALMOST keep up with me.... I don't need a big car to validate myself or to attract the opposite sex. I'm interested in economy and efficiency.

Thats a Smart, right? Arent they Swiss? For some reason I thought so.. dunno why.

They havent really broken through, but in Holland you saw em regularly enough. They get associated with yuppies or trendies a bit, cause they're relatively expensive I think. But they're also bought by young people who both work and live downtown, or as second car for a couple, because they're really useful as a city car.

I mean, if you want to get around effectively in the city, getting a Smart obviously much more, well, urr, smart, than one of those giants that cjhsa prefers. Whats the use of a big car if you cant find parking space, and end up walking a mile from your car to your destination?

Not to mention small sidestreets to navigate through.. and realising that three hummers already make for a traffic jam in your average downtown Amsterdam or Utrecht street.

The Smart is a German car, built by Mercedes. You can see this car
everywhere in Europe, but actually not so much in France, as they prefer
their own brand.

They're little city cars where traffic is horrendous and parking scarce.
CHeap with low gas milage (gasoline is also very expensive there) -
so overall a smart little alternative for city driving - naturally something
cjsa would never understand.

The Mercedes Smart cars are pretty popular in the richie-rich parts of Toronto. They're real status symbols. I hate driving behind them - I feel like I'm way too close to their drivers.

You tend to see the stretch limos and stretch hummers in the more downmarket club areas. bling bling and stretch. <shrug>

Same here in southern California. The less well-to-do neighborhood folks
love to ride around in stretch limos portrayed and liked by cjsa.

What CJ said: the smart is a German car made by Daimler-Chrysler.

And in Paris, there are at least five agencies lending streched limousines (just noting those who advertise today in the newspaper).
