Shewolf, the focus/ resolution seems way off from what you want.

Photobucket allows you to make slide shows, too:

Oh, just saw your latest -- you say the CD is fine? High resolution?

yeah

it is through a program from microsoft that lets you build a cd

this is the video that will be put on CD . It is made full screen high res.

I am just finding it hard to locate a web hosting that wont do to it what photobucket has

I would be willing to email anyone who would be interested in seeing it in high def. Just pm me.

But I am going to keep looking for a site that wont distort it like this.

(sigh)

Im on edge as I need to present this soon to stay in the fore front of the guys mind for this project..

I'm not sure if there are any free ones that won't adjust the resolution pretty severely.

There's always YouTube.

I have no idea about this kinda stuff, but my gut, as just somebody viewing it, says I'd like a bigger ending. Like, moving the chair to the last photo position to make a bigger / longer lasting impression. As is, the last one left me thinking there was more to come cause it wasn't a big finish.

Hope that makes sense.

Beautiful work. Love the mosaic cross. I must have missed that one in the other thread.

What mood are you trying to evoke? The music is sweet, but I find the black-and-white to be stark.

Also, is that format what they said that they wanted? I haven't quite pieced together how formal this whole process has been, and might be worth it -- if you haven't -- to talk to them about what they want, specifically.

I dont know if I am trying to evoke anything at all.
In fact, I am not sure I will leave the music in..... but it just felt empty with out it..

When I think about it though, I personally hate advertisements that have music.. so I defiantly dont want to irritate anyone with it..

So.. change the last picture.. and make it last longer to signify an end?

black and whites are preferred. Many kinds.

This isnt to offer these exact pictures necessarily........ more to show my capability..

i think..

But do they want you to come in with a portfolio? (Prints, in a book.)

Do they want just a collection of photos on CD without the "video" effects?

I think both finding out specifics of what format they prefer and hewing to them will make it more likely that you'll get the... gig... whatever.

Maybe you already have, but that's what I'm asking.

Your black and white photos are interesting, shewolf. Black and white photos create effects that you do not get from color photos.

Sorry guys, I kind of posted and ran..

And here is where I get abit embarassed.
I dont truthfully KNOW what is wanted/needed yet.

I know that Black and Whites are preferred.
But I do not know exactly how MANY will be needed, and where they will go.
It is not even 100% certain that this WILL happen.
So I am probally putting more effort into it then need be.

What I am wanting to do is ........ just SHOW what I can do. What I have done, and what can BE done by me.

I want my pictures, my face and my name in the forefront of everyones mind when they think about this project.

So there is no real format. As all I am doing is offering picture samples to those who I have said " Let me show you what I took of ____ heastone. "

make sense?

Sure.

Is there a way to GET more info? Follow up with the person you've talked to about this? "Hi there, I'm really excited about this opportunity, thanks again for bringing it up! I'm compiling a sort of a portfolio now, and wanted to know what format would be most useful to you. This, this or this, or something else entirely?"

I don't know what person or group of people would be making the decisions, but seems likely there would be some sort of standard that you would be well-served to comply with.

And if not, great, you find that out for sure and then do your thing and submit with a clear conscience.
