@Walter Hinteler,
To get things right: of course I know that William is of (Old High)German origin (Wilhelm).

Just wondering: why does Gerard (sic!) Batten, MEP (Ukip), employ the Polish (sic!) citizen Kamila Zarychta as his accredited assistant? And why does he have a Russian (sic!) assistant (Pavel Stroilov) in London?

Ukip's east Midlands MEP Roger (!) Helmer employs at least an Italian accredited assistant, and William Dartmouth, Ukip MEP for the south west of England, has a proper English first name and employs a Danish assistant ("Vilhelm Erobreren"

Nigel Farridge (deliberate mis-spelling) employs his German wife as his "secretary" and gets the EU parliament to pay her salary, I think.

They are the worst kind of cynical hypocrites. They remind me of the Nazis, but not so clever.

@Walter Hinteler,

Very good questions, Walter, and excellent research.

Romeo is likewise probably ignorant of the fact that the Scots ran the British Empire and were the backbone of the British Army.
And founded the Bank of England, as I recall.

The Scottish Enlightenment did not start with Jim Baxter. They also supplied the engineer on the Starship Enterprise (without whom, nothing).

@Romeo Fabulini,
Yet you choose the name Romeo.

And you make a big song and dance about poofery.

Overcompensating? Possible closet?

Probably.

@McTag,
Blair and Brown were both from Scotland Mac.

I'm hoping for a Yes vote on account of how interesting it will be.

Absolutely the best point in this discussion!

I don't call her a hypocrite. I call you, Walter Hinteler, a hypocrite.

And the reason that I call you a hypocrite is because you recently joined McTag in an unprovoked attack against me that was premised on the notion that I, as an outsider, was not welcome to post in this thread. Then, when Romeo Fabulini pointed out that McTag might also become an outsider, you started pontificating about how this thread is open to outsiders.

I also have a low opinion of your tactic of attacking me without being clear who you are attacking, and of your pretending that my denunciation of your hypocrisy was directed at someone else.

Exactly, Oralboy is disgusting. He fantasises about murdering babies which is all you need to know. And he hates Britain too, so I don't know why he expects to be treated and differently.

More UKIP racism.

Quote:
A UKIP candidate has defended tweets in which he said comedian Lenny Henry should emigrate to a "black country" and compared Islam to the Third Reich.

William Henwood, who is standing in a council election, said he did not think the messages were offensive.

He tweeted after Henry said there should be more black and ethnic minority people in creative industries.

Isn't Lenny Henry from The Black Country anyway? He's from Dudley.

It's just his schtick Rockie. A script. It's mildly amusing imo.

Same with Lenny. Starved of being in the news I suppose.
