The Bridgewater as in the Duke of Bridgewater, one-time possessor of lands in Manchester, Liverpool, Cheshire and Salford, coal mines, first canal built in England. Top dude in his day.

Our concert hall (in Manchester) bears his name.

Las Ramblas down to the marina/ harbour

Great buskers on Las Ramblas, we saw a terrific tango exhibition there.

Presumably the lively discourse, the laser-like investigative writing the the white heat of the philosphical debate all got to be too much for her.

Or maybe it was Spendy's frequent claims to liking "pink chubbies".

I'm here...

I've had a dreadful year - my lovely brother David died in April after a long painful battle with Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis. I miss him all the time. He was only 45.

Apologies for not keeping in contact.
