So we were already the European champions with the U17 and U19 football teams.

And just now we won 4:0 in the U21 final.

@Walter Hinteler,

Our best players were suspended. Probably a South African referee too. You must have fielded some overage players. Not fair.

Still, Andy Murray scraped through, great match.

@McTag,
Well, though we don't have real forwards in the U21, we "outclassed" our "archrivals" with an "impressive performance". (The referees were Dutch.)

@Walter Hinteler,

Stuart Pearce is not a happy chappie.

I don't think he will be having his summer holidays in Germany.

I see GMTV is going to do a special on the Beckhams tomorrow, in recognition of the tenth anniversity of their wedding.

It's hard to satirise that.

All the same, Posh looks like a whippet after having three kids. Amazing and a bit upsetting. You didn't know whippets could have kids? Dedication and an iron will.

@McTag,
I've just seen Andy Murray having his bag searched by a security woman when the cameras had followed him up to the entrance.

That says it all.

Coming directly from Germany, cavalry invades Glasgow.

(Allright it's "via Germany")

Poor old Brits, a dying race.

I'm going into town today to have a curry with Cliff.
I shouldn't really, my weight's creeping up.
But still, eh, what the heck. A short life and a merry one.

@McTag,
I love it.

Test matches are a test of the whole range of masculine virtues in the Christian canon. It's a work of art.

The evidence indicates that you are right, but Scots people only like fitbaw and tossing their cabers.

@McTag,
Scotland has a cricket team. I think the US would have one if they could find a squad good enough.

@Dutchy,
Yes they did. I'm not an England fan Dutch. I like cricket. I like all the players on every side. That Hughes looks a good prospect. I enjoyed watching him play.

Rain is forecast tomorrow so it looks like a draw. Our bowlers look a bit ordinary I'm afraid. Unless conditions favour them I can't see them bowling the Aussies out twice. The same applies to your attack if Lee is out.

@spendius,
They ran an ad during the coverage on Sky Sports of the Test Match saying that "MILLIONS OF WOMEN" are waiting for your call and are eager to meet you.

I piled the cushions over my head.

@spendius,
Are the women still after Warne spendi or do they have a new favourite?

@Dutchy,
I assume they are. Sky have been running ads for weeks that Shane is joining our elite commentary team. They showed him barbecueing what looked like a yellow snake (bush tucker) with Sir Ian and Gower looking aloof.

Third day and no show.

Did you know Dutch that a woman claimed the credit for the 2005 victory. She claimed she kept him up all night.

Your ladies 6th wicket partnership did a good job.
