David...
Not sure about Strawberry shortcake - but Devon Clotted Cream Fudge is lovely. Of course, the Cream Tea with scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam is rather delicious too.

That 's probably it.

Do u know what "clotted cream" is?

@OmSigDAVID,
Clotted Cream
Clotted cream is a thick yellow cream made by heating unpasteurized cow's milk and then leaving it in shallow pans for several hours. During this time, the cream content rises to the surface and forms 'clots'.

Sounds pretty yuk - but it's divine. Smile

It is - and crème double is just a weak surrogate.

While I had to shovel snow yesterday at mother's (18m pavement plus some meters entrance) in -17°C .... it was quite pleasant this morning: only -2° (but a bit more snow).

Feel sorry for you Walter. Just visualise Dutchy in shorts only, 'shoveling' stubbies of cold beer in +34C, outside on the patio whilst watching the cricket test, South Africa v Australia. Who said life wasn't meant to be easy. Smile

No snow here Walt, but it's cold.

Breakfast was a bit too early for me. I may go back to bed to read my Christmas book.

Yo. Snow.

A light snowfall here this morning, not enough to trouble the doughty workers.
I may muffle up and venture abroad later.

It was snowing this morning as I walked to the gym. Boy, did I feel virtuous!

@McTag,
He's after the Nobel Peace Prize Mac. Cherie would really love that on the mantlepiece.

You should take note that a clear divide has at last appeared between our two major parties. The next election represents a clear choice of direction. Sensible suffering or indulging while stocks last. At our age Mac the latter is the most logical. With fingers crossed and your rabbit's foot on the bedhead. I know you don't pray.
