Daughter at the Ice hotel in Northern Sweden tells me they hosted a Brit high society (darlings) 21st birthday Party. with people flying in in helicopters and private jets.

Jamie Oliver came to see to the kitchens. He brought all his own gear. He set up in the main hall and the hotel chefs were "allowed to watch".

Cost was rumored to be in the order of 2 mill. I'm not sure if that was Pound or dollars. Shocked

We is not paid well though...

I hope I haven't given the impression I'm maniacal at work?

Far from it, I'm very kind to my customers, as long as they don't abuse me, then, vengeance is mine...

I'm on strike next week, and I honestly don't know whether it's pay or pensions I'm withdrawing my labour for. Customer's love it though, they're excused from signing.

pigeon has climbed down from the tree. Stupid bird, a tree is no place to be in a wind like this.

In the meeja-

Des Browne, Alastair Darling, Gordon Brown, assorted New Labour spokespersons, assorted trade union leaders, Sralex, weathergirls, Ewan McGregor, John Hannah, Bill Patterson, voiceovers on adverts, etc etc etc etc

Does anyone else get fed up listening to Scottish accents on the box?
