If she was on the Airline Users Committee in those years she probably organised the fart shifting on the long-haul jumbos. You might have a lot to thank her for.

Are we talking trumps?

Go BT!

My favourite thread.

What a bunch of characters...

I'm going to write a screenplay.

Bags being the hero who rescues the damsel in distress and carries her off unsullied to his hideaway to be rewarded in the time honoured manner by having his porrige properly salted and sugared and his pillows fluffed up correctly.

Well I did intend it to be a tragedy...

So the pillows would have to be bloody...

Hi Mathos-

Where've you been? I've missed your blustering, pompous twitterings.

I can, of course, define a "Lady" but I hardly think this is the proper place for it. Baroness Trumpington is a fine example I should think. She was a junior minister once, if I remember correctly, but I don't know what her responsibilities were. One hopes she was a Lady anyway.

I rather get the feeling that you rehearse in advance all you intend blustering about amongst these pages.

Somewhat akin to Spends blustery mumbo-jumbo with ostrich feathers around the neck or one of those big fluffy fur wraps you come across in black and white photographs from old pantomimes at the Palace Theatre.

Did you see many pantomimes as a child Spend?

I have this vision of you with red hair, warts and a runny nose, singing 'The smoke go's up the chimney just the same' or 'Look out, he's behind you.'

Now you didn't really do much at all with the definition of a lady, did you?

You twittered about a little with a description any clown could have mustered up from the toffs pages on the net!

It's not good enough Spend, now do it again, with feeling and a sense of knowledge.

If you can!

{PS I'm extremely busy of late, must be the time of year, there just doesn't appear to be enough hours in the day! Are you still glad about me, you moron?}

Did I tell you I was attending a wedding reception this evening at some 'really eccentric rum place in Blackpool'?

I'm going to a house party tonight.

As it's mainly gay men, do you think I should glam up or go casual?

If I was you smorgsie I would glam up and show them what they are missing.

Look Mathos- I can't post my definition of a Lady on here. And I'm not going to make a list of trite cliches out of the Book of Etiquette.

What do you mean 'Look Mathos?'

You really do come out with some strange words!

I asked you to give a definition, your definition of a lady!

It's obviously beyond your total capabilities, you don't surprise me at all though.

How on earth would an oink from that silly county have any idea.

Sorry Smorgsi, I have to ask for more input on your mainly gay party.

Is it mixed gay?

There's no point at all in getting dressed up for the gay guys. But if the ladies are there in force, you could be onto a winner.

Well I'm off to Blackpool now, it's a resort, the last bloody resort! Rolling Eyes

Otherwise, I'm sure, ..... n'est-çe pas, smorgs?

What do you think the reasons are, Dadpad, for this difference?

Check out carefully..

Bonjourno peoples.

I trust you all got your free Prince Sign O The Times DVD in the Observer today? It's my all time favorite.

Went to a rave in Bangor last night. I feel very old.

Came home to another enormous arachnid.

(Keep chin up smorgs and eyes open for new job opportunities)

not difficult, brighton is filthy

.

awoke in the middle of the night to find a truly gargantuan spider on the ceiling. It had five legs and was going round and round.
