What does "too" mean.

You wrote "Rugby players always look lowbrow". I say they don't, not always.
And looks can be misleading. Even the Pitbull, whatsisface from the English front row, was a solicitor.

And as far as looks are concerned, one for the laydees- have you seen the nude calendar the French equipe had made a couple of years ago? Surprising.

Bad luck btw Les Bleus....that was a brutal match last night. There'll be a few bumps and bruises to take care of I'm sure. Well done, Argentina, but I think the Argies should have a dope test. They were so fired up it was unbelievable.

Mac-

Give us the weights and heights of the team Mac.

Do you not know any solicitors and doctors at the social level?

Big, mostly. and heavy.

And your point is?

They can all run like stink, unlike many cricketers.

Colin Milburn was no sylph.

I cannot give you bullshit and say I thought Prince was good! I was quite pissed off to be truthful. The wife enjoyed the show and I must say I was VERY impressed with the arena.

I'll let you have a write up on these pages over the weekend.

That does not mean of course that he was not good for the remaining twenty two thousand nine hundred and ninety nine or so who paid to see him.

I was having a chat with one of the security guys there, he reckoned every night had been a virtual sell out for the show.

What???

What were you pissed off about? It better be constructive!

Confused

I've heard some "adventurous" stories about the transport.

(And I'm glad, Mrs Walter isn't a Prince-fan so that I had to accompany her ...)

I'm not too fond of Prince either. Mrs Hinteler has sound judgement imo.

And as for going to London to watch a pop concert...I'd sooner listen to Spendy reading from the telephone directory.

Come on Mac and Walt! Your both acting like a couple of Spendi's coming out with statements like that.

What is your forte?

I hope it's not bloody bowls on a lump of manicured lawn!

Whatever the formalities in getting there and back involved, it's all an experience, but life is like that! Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Now the two twins accompanying Prince were something else, I'd have to admit they would have been worth walking there from Park Lane.

His backing group was phenomenal as well especially the saxophone player, probably the best I have ever heard! I'll give you a bit of a breakdown regarding the trip so to speak, but the Prince, sorry Dorothy he was a let down!

Really pissed me off, I thought he would have been much better in general, certainly age and the passing of time isn't doing him much good! I bet he couldn't keep up with me on a bike ride!

but you will beat the Welsh. Hope so anyway.

Only disappointment so far was Les Bleus or as I call them Les Bleues. Argentina played out of their skins but France looked mentally fragile. Just what their captain said they were not.

Six foot and eighteen stone.

Some six-four. Some smaller.

Actually rugby is a good game for schools particularly (apart from the occasional broken neck) because 30 lads get on the field at one time which is a lot, and wiry speedy guys and stocky dumpy guys and big lanky guys can all play in their specialist positions.

Granted, at the professional level a certain amount of beef and brawn is de rigeur, because otherwise the player would be too fragile to last long. Jonathan Davies for example had to put on about two stone of extra muscle to play for Salford, even though he was already a Union international.
