I don't, I'm not his biggest fan - but I'll cheerfully admit he was influential in the art world.
But maybe someone will see this who knows which book might be best....

I haven't read anything of hers (yet) but I was looking through some philosophy quotes not too long ago and I found that one.
It kind of fits where I am in life right now, I liked it.

Hi violetchild, Anita Brookner writes really good fiction. One of my favorites is titled "Look at Me."
Edie Sedgwick was one of his models-- she lived fast and hard and died young.
Here's a good movie to watch:
