Hello,

since I change the place of my Rain soft system the softener is every time overflowing the salt tank. I tested with manual regeneration and when it fills the tank around 3/4 full and the computer shows still 90 minutes to run. Usually I plug out the softener from the power. Also since then the softener doesn't regenerate automatically every night anymore. Can somebody help me with this problem.

1 - Put the system on bypass.
2 - Tell me more about the softener, is it an old Q or a newer Gold series?
3 - Can you post or email me a picture?
4 - Was the unit ever laid on it's side?

I should be able to help you once I have more information ~

Hi H2O,

it would be wonderful, when you could help me. O.K. now to the softener:

I bought a house with well and Rain Soft softener Q2 valve and a RF valve filter. I guess the RF Filter is to reduce the iron, is this correct. The Rf Filter works fine. Since I made some plumping and change the position of the softener and filter, the softener doesn't regenerate automaticly every night and manual regen. let the tank overflow.

So answer are:
1- is now in bypass
2- Q2 model year 2000
3- picture comes via email, because I don't know how to post it
4- no, never laid on the side.

Thanks
Edat
